Each year the AATSP sponsors the Poster Contest that is open to K–12 Spanish and Portuguese students whose teachers are current AATSP members.

The AATSP Poster Contest:

The AATSP National Poster Contest celebrates student creativity while promoting the value of learning Spanish and Portuguese. Students from PreK through grade 12 are invited to create original artwork inspired by this year’s theme.

This year’s THEME
Teaching in all tenses: The past, present, and future of Spanish and Portuguese
Enseñando en Todos los Tiempos: El pasado, el presente y el futuro del español y el portugués
Ensinando em Todos os Tempos: O passado, o presente e o futuro do espanhol e do português

NC chapter entries are due submitted by March 20, 2026 to aatspnc@gmail.com
You may send in up to three (3) entries per category.
We will be giving prizes for the entries that make first, second, and third place. All participants will receive a certificate for their submission.

National Poster Contest Deadline: March 27, 2026.
Teachers of winning students will be notified between the end of April and the beginning of May 2026.
